Symbolizing eternality, diamond is a woman’s best friend. With Mother’s Day coming soon, it’s time to show mommy your love while the ideal gift is definitely a diamond ring. However, diamond is somewhat unaffordable to the working newbies. Featuring the edible yellow diamond – sea urchin, together with the nourishing fish maw, The Window Café is going to delight you and your family with Golden Gems Seafood Buffet Dinner this Mother’s Day. Head to Loong Yat Heen if you opt for a traditional family reunion; two Mother’s Day Special Set Menus which feature a series of scrumptious delicacies will be available on the day and its eve.

Golden Gems Seafood Buffet Dinner at The Window Café
On May 11 & 12, The Window Café is going to indulge you with an array of dishes prepared by the yellow diamond-like sea urchin and fish maw. What’s more…a dish of complimentary Double Boiled Soup with Fish Maw, Conch Meat, Chinese Caterpillar Fungus and Pork will be offered to every mother.

Stands out itself with the robust hint of brine, custard-like creaminess and lingering umami, sea urchin is one of the top three delicacies in Japan. Rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals, sea urchin is highly nutritious. Using the renowned sea urchin found in Hokkaido, the ingredient is in superior quality that spoils your palate. Displaying in creamy golden, fish maw ranks as an ambrosia together with abalone, sea cucumber and shark’s fin. Fat and cholesterol free, fish maw is rich in collagen and well-beloved by women for its excellent skin repairing function.

Savor the distinctive earthy and briny tones from Baked King Prawn with Sea Urchin and Black Truffle. The fungus grows naturally around the root of hazelnut bush and resembles a nutty aroma that echoes with the ocean scent brought by sea urchin. Presents in a creamy texture, sea urchin on the other hand gives a contrast to the bouncy texture of king prawn. Tonify yourself with Fish Maw and Chinese Caterpillar Fungus with Basil and Peanut Sauce on Ice, the cold dish is so refreshing and best relished during summer. Other recommendations include Steamed Sea Urchin with Fish Maw, Hokkaido Egg White and Yoghurt, Lychee & Durian Cheesecake, Birds Nest and Lychee Millie Feuille with Osmanthus and more.
