The East Coast Boardwalk in approximately 2.2 kilometres long, is divided into eastern and western sections of Hong Kong Island linking up the harbourfront from Fortress Hill to Quarry Bay. Designed as a “Harbourfront Shared Space”, the East Coast Boardwalk creates a vibrant and diverse atmosphere for the public to carry out various recreational activities such as walking, jogging and enjoying the sunset. The glass observatory deck is a major highlight of the waterfront, offering panoramic views of the eastern part of Victoria Harbour and serving as a new landmark for appreciating its magnificent scenery
